At Chewy I manage the newly formed team dedicated to user research and testing. In my position I’m devoted to studying our customers and influencing the strategy and design of our digital experience. My research toolbox includes interviews, usability testing, surveys, journey mapping, card sorts, and more.
On the Matty K's 7 Seas project I provided design services and built a WordPress site to help promote the organization and it's fund-raising efforts to build a memorial playground in the South Shore town of Marshfield, Massachusetts.
At Wayfair I was the sole UX Designer on our Registry site launched in October of 2016. I collaborated with Product Managers and Engineers to continuously roll out new features and test live ones - iterating on design to provide the best experience for our users. As part of the Wayfair UX team I was involved in competitive research, user testing, wire framing and prototyping.
The Jetty is a small restaurant in Marshfield, Massachusetts rebranding themselves as the go-to venue for live music on the South Shore. My approach to their website redesign was to survey customers to determine the elements most important to them – and design accordingly. The result is a responsive website I built in WordPress - providing the owners the ability to update the ever changing entertainment schedule and menu at their own discretion.
Destination Dinnertime Kids! – Fictional purveyor of pre-portioned boxed dinner deliveries. A gamified app for 9-14 year old primary user allowing them to select (and purchase with adult) pre-portioned boxed dinners to cook at home. As a UX Designer I applied my findings from user research to create lo-fidelity annotated sketches, storyboard, competitive analysis, & prototype. I also designed the UI.
