I’m currently at Wayfair as the sole UX Designer on our Registry site launched in October of 2016. I collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to continuously roll out new features and test live ones. Iterating on design to provide the best experience for our users. As part of the Wayfair UX team I’m involved in competitive research, user testing, wire framing and prototyping.
The Jetty is a small restaurant in Marshfield, Massachusetts rebranding themselves as the go-to venue for live music on the South Shore. My approach to their website redesign was to survey customers to determine the elements most important to them – and design accordingly. The result is a responsive website I built in WordPress - providing the owners the ability to update the ever changing entertainment schedule and menu at their own discretion.
WeCycle is a concept for a community based mobile app that would provide a way to give and receive real-time condition reports to and from fellow bike commuters. I not only utilized UX skills such as user research, wire framing and prototyping I was able to rely on my many years as a logo and graphic designer to create the brand identity and UI as well.
EF Education First is an international education company focusing on language, academics, educational travel, and cultural experience. For my final project in General Assembly's UX Design Immersive, my team and I designed an adaptive page that would provide tour information to parents and students while doubling as a marketing tool for the tour director and Education First. We worked directly with the UX Department at EF Educational Tours in Cambridge, MA.
Destination Dinnertime Kids! – Fictional purveyor of pre-portioned boxed dinner deliveries. A gamified app for 9-14 year old primary user allowing them to select (and purchase with adult) pre-portioned boxed dinners to cook at home. As a UX Designer I applied my findings from user research to create lo-fidelity annotated sketches, storyboard, competitive analysis, & prototype. I also designed the UI.
